For this project, I was invited to create the visual world for Inheritors, a CGTN series celebrating traditional Chinese craftsmanship and heritage.
Inspired by classical Chinese ink painting, I developed a modern and abstract aesthetic that bridges old and new. The concept focused on iconic cultural motifs—like koi fish, lanterns, and China’s iconic Fuxing bullet train—reimagined in expressive brush strokes and a minimalist layout.
As part of the creative process, I drew inspiration from the bold, graphic style of Andrea Minini’s vector illustrations. Several of his works served as references, and he supported the project with artistic input along the way.
My role combined illustration and layout design, shaping a visual identity that feels both poetic and contemporary—like tradition dancing with the future.
